Charlie Chaplin's Stolen Body Found.

"The final resting place containing the assemblage of Charlie Chaplin - missing since his grave was ransacked 11 weeks prior - has been found. It was uncovered from a field about a mile away from the Chaplin home in Corsier close to Lausanne, Switzerland. The incredible humorist kicked the bucket on Christmas Day a year ago, matured 88. He was covered two days after the fact in the town of Corsier in the slopes above Lake Geneva.

Swiss police have captured two men - a Pole matured 24 and a Bulgarian matured 38 - and state they have admitted to taking the casket and reburying it. Names of the charged have not been discharged, however police say they are both engine mechanics. They were followed after police kept a watch on 200 telephone stands and tapped the Chaplins' telephone after the family gotten recover requests of £400,000 for return of the body after it disappeared in March. Sir Charles' 51-year-old widow, Lady Oona Chaplin, wouldn't settle up saying: "Charlie would have thought it ludicrous." In further calls the hijackers made dangers to hurt her two most youthful kids.

The family kept quiet about the payment requests and different bits of gossip circled about the missing final resting place. One Hollywood report recommended it had been uncovered on the grounds that Sir Charles was a Jew covered in a gentile burial ground. Woman Chaplin, girl of dramatist Eugene O'Neill acquired about £12m after the passing of her better half. The couple and their eight kids have been living in Lausanne since 1952. A representative for the Chaplins stated: "The family is glad and diminished that this experience is finished." Superintendent Gabriel Cettou, the leader of the Geneva police, said the two men would be accused of endeavored blackmail and upsetting the tranquility of the dead.
